Carved from a small solid block of porcelain (kurinuki technique). Inspired by the Cha-ire (matcha green tea caddy) used in the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Celadon green with copper red details. Fits into the palm of the hand - quite tiny. Fired in our gas kiln. Exceptional colouring.
