Carved from a small solid block of porcelain (kurinuki technique). Inspired by the Cha-ire (matcha green tea caddy) used in the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Copper red with metallic black details. Fits into the palm of the hand - quite tiny. Fired in our gas kiln. Beautiful figured red colouring.
