Woodfired works from Portugal

Made with stoneware clay specifically blended for woodfiring these works were made at Cerdeira in Portugal whilst I was there in October 2023. Carved from large solid blocks of clay (kurinuki method) these sculptural vessels were fired under the firebars of a bourry box where the accumulated ash was allowed to build up on them.

An opportunity to buy some experimental pieces outside of my normal output.
